A NOTE REGARDING AIR CONDITIONERS AT SAVASI ISLAND

Due to the unique qualities of the architectural style of the South Pacific, the indoor/outdoor tropical style living includes elevated buildings to maximize airflow, lots of louvered windows, slit configurations in gables, and high ceilings. This is both a traditional and practical method of staying as cool as possible in a tropical environment. And it's in this type of climate much of the time is spent out doors with everything open and very little need for air-conditioning. And because of all the above, we find that air conditioners do not work well or efficiently and therefore they are not provided in every room.
